Autonomous
Flight Packages
This cutting
edge technology greatly reduces costs and expense for pilot training and
lets you get your
tactical application in the air more quickly and more safely than ever. With
the autonomous system the flight range of our tactical helicopters is
considerably increased, since the pilot no longer depends on visual information
for attitude
determination.
 |
The
autonomous flight package provides excellent assistance to close-range
applications, like aerial photography, video, and filming, as well
as all other applications, which require different equipment to
be in the air to complete, it’s mission beyond traditional
line of sight operations.
The
autonomous flight system consists of a flight control processor
with a built-in embedded computer system, a GPS receiver, a full
six-degree of freedom inertial measurement unit, and an externally
connectable magnetometer to provide altitude stabilization, velocity
control, and automatic hover. A general-purpose I/O interface allows
control of custom payload equipment. |
Optionally a data-link
may be added to visualize data on our custom ground control station.
Flight
Training
| Whether
it be still photography applications, video production, or tactical
applications, our school
is designed to teach you not only how to fly, but also how to set
up shots and perform them safely while on location |
 |
 |
Our
school utilizes trainer helicopters that are programmed to fly like
our tactical and commercial VTOL
UAVs Along with our wireless training system which allows
the instructor to remain up to 50 feet away from the student, (while
retaining the ability to intervene in the event the student gets
into trouble), our system will even allow your instructor to
simulate equipment failures, thus training you to handle the unexpected,
calmly, and proficiently, without risking damage to the VTOL UAV. We
offer 4 different courses to choose from, depending on your particular
needs. |
